I won't finish this art work before NYU builds yet another mega dorm next door to me on St. Ann's grave. I remember the parishioners gathered outside crying and praying on the street as they were turned out of their stunningly beautiful Church built in 1847. You can see the back of the NYU Palladium dorm -- the large brown hideous mega dorm in this picture! The New School dorm is almost across the street from St. Ann's and blocks the view I used to have of Beth Israel, where a family member of mine was born. Could you imagine if NYU had to pay property taxes on all the real estate they own? NYU has supersized our historic area. We are surrounded by NYU mega dorms!
